THE Foryd Bridge (“Blue Bridge”) in Rhyl will be subject to overnight closures this week.
Situated near Kinmel Bay, the bridge will be closed for three nights starting tonight (July 1), from 11.45pm until 5am.
Several small projects are planned, including:
- Removal of guano
- Clearing of drains
- Cleaning of expansion joints
- Street light repairs / maintenance
- Painting of arch bracing above carriageway
- Structural inspection
On the night of July 4, Denbighshire County Council plans to work longer, from 9pm to 5am, but this time with temporary traffic lights.
No work is planned near the centre of the carriageway on this evening.
