AN AMUSEMENT park in Towyn held a successful first Pride celebration last weekend.
Knightly's Fun Park’s Pride Weekend was held from June 28-30, with a line-up full of varied performances and events for people to enjoy.
This included a fireworks display, rainbows, giveaways, music, and a one-night-only funfair wristband.
Among the acts on the line-up were Beth McCann, a Becky Hill and Lady Gaga tribute act; Michelle Lawson as the Voice of Whitney; and Herbie Graham as Boy George.
Luke Knightly, of Knightly’s Fun Park, said: "We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for Pride Weekend!
“Despite the rain, it was incredible to see so many having a great time and enjoying the entertainment.
“We couldn't have asked for a better community to celebrate with and it makes all the hard work worth it!
“We're already looking forward to making next year's Pride Weekend even more spectacular."
Pride Month is celebrated annually in June, as that was the month when the 1969 Stonewall riots took place.
