A FLINTSHIRE animal rescue centre is appealing to the public to find three beautiful dogs their forever home.
Almost Home Dog Rescue, based in Mold, provides a safe haven for abandoned dogs before uniting them with their new home and owner.
It also aims to support and educate the next generation of dog owners to prevent an increase in the number of pets being carelessly neglected.
Anyone interested in the following pups should fill out the adoption form here.
Meet Leo and Rufus
Leo is 10-years-old and is brown and white, while Rufus is nine and is black. Both were strays who were never claimed.
They have been great with everyone they have met since being with Almost Home. Great with visitors and older dog savvy children.
Both are house-trained and will happily sleep throughout the night, as well as being left alone to play. Leo and Rufus love their walks and are still very active. While they love to sit on your knee, they aren't too good at sharing one person! They require a lot of love and attention.
They travel well and are happy to be handled. They will also soon restart their vaccinations, have their nails clipped and have full health checks. Leo and Rufus will bring a lot of joy to a person's home.
Almost Home is still assessing whether they could be homed together or not, and are accepting applications for both or just one at this time.
Meet Poppy
Poppy is a 13-week-old Jack Russell who has already had too many homes in her life. She is a whirlwind of a character, a terrier through and through.
She's a very clever girl who is already house-trained. She adores playing and exploring outside, but requires plenty of routine, stimulation and structure.
This girl would be ideal for agility, canicross, flyball, obedience etc when she is old enough. She has lot of brain power which need to be used and excised or she’ll make her own games up.
She passed a full healthcheck, she’s been flead, wormed and microchipped. She has her final vaccination in a week. Poppy will go out on a spaying contract which Almost Home cover the cost for.
Poppy is happy to be handled, and she travels well too. She does everything she should and shouldn’t as a puppy too. Puppy’s are hard work, they need a lot of input! She will chew, bite and scratch!
Due to her breed, she will hopefully be 10-15 year plus commitment so please do consider this before applying.
