A TOTAL of 37 arrests have been made in Rhyl in the last few weeks as part of a new police programme.
Clear Hold Build was designed by the Home Office to regenerate areas most affected by serious and organised crime.
Since launching in Rhyl West, North Wales Police said it has made arrests including 14 for drug-related matters, and others including sexual offences, burglary, arson, affray and shoplifting.

In addition, 49 stop-searches have been carried out, as have 36 welfare visits and four warrants.
Meanwhile, 17 uses of the Public Spaces Protection Order in Rhyl’s town centre have been initiated, and a criminal behaviour was granted for a persistent offender.
North Wales Police said: “We are relentlessly pursuing those who conduct criminality, and the message is clear: you are not welcome in Rhyl.”
