IT looks set to be a weekend of mixed weather across North Wales.

That's according to the Met Office, who are predicting mostly dry and cloudy conditions, with some sunny spells and temperatures up to 18C.

Despite the hot temperatures this week, with highs of 27C across Wrexham and Flintshire, the weather looks set to cool over the weekend.

Friday will see a mix of sunny and cloudy intervals with highs of 18C. The day will start cloudy before changing to sunny intervals by lunchtime.

Clouds look set to dominate on Saturday, with little chance of sunny spells. Temperatures will remain at highs of around 18C.

Sunday looks set to be a bit more like Friday with a cloudy start to the day before more sunny intervals into the afternoon. Temperatures have been forecast to drop on Sunday, with highs of 16C.

There will also be some high winds on Friday and Sunday, with gusts of up to 28mph.
