A “FAMILY friendly music festival” returns to Rhuddlan today (June 21) for the first time in five years.

RhuddFest, based at Morfa Lodge, Abergele Road, is being held on June 21, 22 and 23, and is set to be “bigger and better than ever”.

Tickets, from £15, are available now via the festival’s website – including three-night camping (campervan spaces now sold out), helicopter pleasure flights, day tickets, and admission to the solstice fire and light party on June 21.

At RhuddFest, festivities will include musical performances, motorbike stunt shows, chainsaw speed carving, and much more.

Here’s everything you need to know if you’re heading to the festival:

What time do the gates open?

Gate times are 7pm to midnight on June 21, 11am to midnight on June 22, and 11am to 9pm on June 23.

What are the event opening times?

June 21 – camping field 3pm, summer solstice 7pm.

June 22 – 11am.

June 23 – 11am.

Can I park?

Yes, and disabled and campers’ parking will also be available.

The car park at the venue is being looked after by Blood Bikes Wales, with those using it encouraged to make a £5 donation to the charity.

Entry and ticket scanning

You may be asked to show proof of ID upon entry and for the purchase of alcohol.

The only accepted forms of ID are valid and up-to-date passports, driving licenses, or Home Office-approved proof of age cards.

Your ticket will be checked and scanned on arrival. If you have purchased e-tickets, please preload it before you arrive to speed up entry, as internet speeds might be slow.

Tickets can only be scanned once. Once they are scanned, you will be given a wristband, which you can use for entry and re-entry.

What age are children's tickets?

Children aged three or younger don't require a ticket.

Children aged four to 15 require a child ticket.

Anyone aged 16 years or older requires an adult ticket.

Are camping chairs and gazebos allowed on-site?

Camping chairs are allowed, but gazebos are not.

Any camping chairs brought in will be checked first for any prohibited items.

Bag searches

All bags, camping chairs, and rolled-up blankets, will be searched by security for prohibited and concealed items.

Can I bring food and drink in to the festival with me?

Alcohol is not allowed to be brought in to the festival.

Food and drink is not allowed to be brought in, either, with the exception of baby formula/milk and baby snacks.

Empty drink containers can be re-filled with free drinking water from the bar areas.

There will be lots of stalls proving a variety of street food, with vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options.

Glass containers are not allowed on the festival grounds.
