A FISHING shop in Rhyl is to close its doors, it has confirmed.

Harry’s Tackle & Bait, at 100 Vale Road, said it shutting its doors due to “personal circumstances”, but made the decision to close “with a heavy heart”.

No closing date has been set, with the shop due to remain open until all of its stock has been purchased.

It launched a “50 per cent off” sale on all of its goods yesterday (June 20).

A statement from Harry’s Tackle & Bait yesterday read: “With a heavy heart, I have to announce Harry's tackle is closing. This is mostly due to personal circumstances

“So, starting lunchtime today, we are selling everything at 50 per cent off. We have a lot of high-end rods and reels, so now is the time for you grab a massive bargain.

“Once all of the tackle is gone, then the fittings will be for sale, i.e. fridges, freezers, rod stands, peg boards, counter, till etc.

“So, now is the time to stock up on everything you need. The sale will run until the shop is empty (sale does not include bait, sorry).

“Thanks to all our customers for the support over the years.”
