A care group with a branch in St Asaph has been recognised as a Trusted Partner of Spinal Injuries Association (SIA).

Alcedo Care Group has been recognised for its expertise in providing in-home care for individuals suffering from spinal injuries.

This leading homecare company, with its branch at Bowen Court on St Asaph Business Park, is now recognised by the SIA, which garners an expert voice for life after a spinal cord injury, providing knowledge and support.

Selection as a Trusted Partner is only granted to organisations that meet SIA’s very high standards.

The award shows Alcedo is trusted to provide medical care, advice and support in the home for the wider spinal cord injury community.

Alcedo is working with approximately 10 spinal injury clients, providing flexible care according to the varying requirements of each situation.

Its services range from light touch daily one-hour visits to respite or all-day care, delivering support that covers personal care, companionship, daily tasks or transport, and assistance with physical therapy and other clinical needs related to the condition.

Partnership manager from the Spinal Injuries Association, Alison Hayward, said: "The purpose of the Trusted Partner scheme is to connect our members with organisations that can help them live a fulfilled life after injury."

She also said: "We know that it is often difficult for our members to know who to trust with their care requirements and are therefore delighted to welcome Alcedo Care Group on board as a Trusted Care Partner to help with medical care in the home."

Andy Boardman, managing director at Alcedo Care Group, said: "Our team is hugely experienced in looking after those with spinal cord injuries in their own homes, delivering bespoke care packages according to differing individual needs and requirements."

Beside this honour, Alcedo Care Group received glowing reviews from a family in the Lakes for its detail-oriented and sensitive care.

As it looks forward to expanding its branches across North England and Wales by the end of 2025, its recognition as a Trusted SIA Partner underscores its commitment to providing quality home care services.
