MORE high-visibility police patrols will be conducted in Rhyl’s town centre amid a “recent spike in burglaries”.

North Wales Police says it will carry out more of these patrols during the early hours of the day to show a more visible presence and deter any further criminality.

Anyone with information about such incidents has been urged to contact the force.

A police spokesperson said: “Due to a recent spike in burglaries around the town centre we are aiming to conduct more hi visibility patrols during the early hours to show a visible presence and to deter any further criminality.
