A TEENAGER has been arrested in Prestatyn following “further issues in and around” the town’s Parc Prestatyn Shopping Park today (June 15).
The teenager, a 16-year-old male, was arrested for public order, criminal damage, and theft offences.
It follows an escalation in reports of criminal damage and public order offences in the retail park area in the last week.

A number of young people were directed to leave the area on Thursday night (June 13) following some further reports of antisocial behaviour.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “Following further issues in and around Prestatyn’s retail park today, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) have attended to patrol the area.
“They have just arrested a 16-year-old male for public order, criminal damage, and theft offences. He is on his way to custody.
“NPT officers will remain in the area on patrol.”
