TV star Jake Quickenden is spearheading the production of 'Rita, Sue & Bob Too!', set to be shown in Rhyl next year.

The play, which is a cult classic comedy, is being produced by Regal Entertainments Ltd and is expected to bring smiles and side-splitting laughter to its audiences.

It begins its 10-week UK tour on February 4, 2025, stopping at 10 venues across the nation, with the final show to be held at Liverpool Olympia from April 9 to April 12.

The tour is scheduled to take to the stage at the Pavilion Theatre in Rhyl from March 27 to March 29.

Tickets officially go on sale at 10am on June 14.

The play follows the comedic and complicated life of characters Rita, Sue, and Bob.

Bob, played by Mr Quickenden, is married to Michelle, but behind her back, he starts an affair with both Rita and Sue.

The resulting chaos, leads to drama within the group, but will the trio end up reunited?

Mr Quickenden is known for his presence on ITV's The X Factor and his subsequent TV roles in shows including I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, Dancing on Ice, and Hollyoaks.

Mr Quickenden has expressed his delight at landing the role saying: "I’m delighted to be joining the brilliant cast of Rita, Sue and Bob Too!

"Regal Entertainments have a fantastic reputation for producing exciting entertainment in Merseyside and I can’t wait to take the show all over the UK."

He further added: "Andrea Dunbar’s play is a classic and I can’t wait to play Bob."

The cast includes Hollyoaks' Jessica Ellis, Britain's Got Talent's Siobhan Phillips, along with stage actors Kay Nicholson and Jenna Sian O’Hara.
