THE Aldi store in Rhuddlan reopened to customers today (June 14) following a refurbishment.
The Marsh Road store closed on June 9 for upgrades which will aim to provide a better shopping experience and a more sustainable store.
Changes include an increased chiller space, complete with new fridge doors to reduce energy consumption, as well as an additional room for Aldi’s “Specialbuys”, and a redesigned health and beauty and bakery sections.
The store employs 26 colleagues, and the refurbishment will also make additional jobs.
During its first week back open, the store will be offering a range of pet essentials, including memory foam pet mattresses for £14.99, plush beds from £12.99 and a hooded cat litter tray for £7.99.
Store manager Jason Quinton said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we are really looking forward to welcoming back some familiar faces as well as new customers and supplying our local community with the everyday amazing products we have available.”
