Rhyl could soon get a new chip shop.
Muhammad Yasir, of Parveen Coffee Limited, has applied to Denbighshire County Council’s planning department, seeking planning permission to convert a shop to a takeaway.
Mr Yasir wants to convert the former Office2Home stationary shop, on Wellington Road, into a takeaway.
If granted planning permission, the new takeaway will include an eat-in and fish and chip shop.
The shop is currently vacant.
According to the planning application, the new chip ship would create two new full-time and two part-time jobs.
The proposed opening hours are 11am to 10pm Monday to Friday and 11am to 10pm on Sundays, as well as bank holidays.
The planning application will likely be discussed at a future planning committee meeting at Ruthin ’s County Hall HQ.
