A NEW restaurant priding itself on serving “different flavours from different countries” has opened in Rhyl.

Fulla’s Kitchen – Bar and Grill, based at 215 Wellington Road, celebrated its grand opening on Friday (May 24), having initially held a “soft opening” earlier last week.

It has been opened by Rhyl resident Humphrey Muleba, who also runs the Fullaflavourz takeaway in the town, on Vale Road.

Open from Wednesday to Sunday, the restaurant is seen by Humphrey as an “expansion” on Fullaflavourz.

He said: “It’s been great so far. We’ve had great feedback on food and the menu, and people seem excited for something different in Rhyl, which excites us, as well.

“Our menu is quite diverse – I love different flavours from different countries, and I think it’s great to have a place in Rhyl like that. There’s nothing quite like that in Rhyl.

“Our Neapolitan-style pizzas have been really popular so far, and so have our South African Chakalaka tacos, and our cocktails.

“Once we get all of our kitchen staff extremely familiar with the menu, we’ll slowly expand into opening more days a week.

“This is like an expansion on Fullaflavourz; from a takeaway service to a dining experience.”

Though bookings are preferred at Fulla’s Kitchen, the restaurant also accepts walk-ins.

Its opening hours are 2-10.30pm on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and 2-11pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
