A ROAD in Towyn has been flooded following torrential rain, amid a flood alert in the Denbighshire area.
The A548 Towyn Road, also known as the coastal road, has suffered significant flooding in the section close to Ty Mawr Holiday Park.
A resident said the level was six to eight inches" at its deepest, which they said "could have been deeper".

They told the Journal that cars were "taking it in turn" to use the drier lane.
Another resident advised against "lower ride cars" going through the flooded areas.
Darren Millar, MS for Clwyd West, labelled the level of flooding in the area "unacceptable", adding that he would take the matter up with Conwy County Borough Council.
A flood alert is in place across Denbighshire until around midday today (May 23).
