THREE-AA Rosette chef Andrew Sheridan is to open a new ‘small plates’ restaurant in Prestatyn.

Andrew will launch Dishes, on the town’s High Street, in July.

It will serve small, social plates of food, and a carefully selected drinks list.

On Sundays, Dishes will serve roast dinners on sharing platters for the table.

The Prestatyn venture will extend Andrew’s portfolio further, supported by his business partners, Sam and Emma Morgan, of Open Restaurants Group (ORG).

He said: “The concept for Dishes is that it will be small, social plates based around the food we love to cook and eat.

“We’ll combine great music, delicious food with wines, beers, and cocktails. We look forward to making our mark on this bustling Welsh high street.”

Andrew was working in North Wales when he appeared on the 14th series of BBC Two's Great British Menu.

His flagship restaurant, 8 By Andrew Sheridan in Liverpool, holds three AA Rosettes and is listed in the Michelin Guide.

ORG also runs two bistros: Black & Green, in Barnt Green, Worcestershire, and OXA in Oxton, The Wirral.

The group was also part of a community venture to reopen The Bracebridge, a popular waterfront restaurant in an affluent suburb of Sutton Coldfield, West Midlands.

Both 8 By Andrew Sheridan and OXA have also been nominated for the Good Food Guide, meanwhile.
