A ROUTINE stop of a van on the A55 in St Asaph led to two stolen jet skis being recovered and three arrests made.
Early this morning (May 20), a police officer tried to conduct a stop on the van which was showing no insurance, only for the driver to make off after the leaving the vehicle in a line.
Inside the van, officers found a suspected stolen jet ski.

Colleagues to assist with an area search, which led to the finding of a second van with five males around, and another suspected stolen jet ski on board.
Officers were able to detain and arrest three of the five males.
Later this morning, a burglary was reported on Anglesey, where jet skis had been stolen.
North Wales Police said that three suspects remain in custody.
