A BARBER in Rhyl has moved his business out of his home and into its own premises in the town.
Jordan Baker, 27, had run Jordan Baker Barbering from his converted detached garage for the last three-and-a-half years prior to relocating it to 56 Vale Road.
He opened at his new base, formerly occupied by Wynne-Jones Flooring, yesterday (May 13), following a large-scale refurbishment of the premises.

“Sometimes, you can sit there for the whole first week and not see a soul, but it’s been busy so far, to be fair,” Jordan said.
“I renovated it completely, stripping it all out to give it a high-end look with the best value.
“We’re keeping the same pricing structure from when we were at my home, but it was just about expanding the business, and giving it more of a visual presence and more of a professional look.
“It’s much bigger than the space I had at home, so it’s definitely better than working at home.”
Earlier this year, Jordan launched a subscription model to his customers money, which he will be continuing to offer at his business’ new home.
His subscription plan offers three tiers - £15 per month for unlimited haircuts, £20 per month for unlimited skin fades, and £30 per month for unlimited hair and beard services.
A former teacher, he also works at The Kings Academy, Deeside, teaching Level 2 barbering and individualised sub-courses.
He added: “I’ve got another person in here doing some other bits and bobs – he does barbering, as well, but also teeth whitening and piercings.
“I’m still offering the subscription model, too. There's a bit more space now at home, too, which is nice!”
Jordan Baker Barbering’s opening hours are 9am-3.30pm on Mondays, 10am-6.30pm on Tuesdays and Fridays, 9am-5pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and 9am-3pm on Saturdays.
