On this bank holiday weekend last year, Rhyl Rugby Club had to close due to “unforeseen circumstances” after “circa 15 vehicles” were spotted parked on its grounds.

It led to a couple from Rhyl having to re-arrange their wedding reception, which had initially been planned to be held at the club.

North Wales Police and Denbighshire County Council have been contacted for further comment.
