Elsewhere in Rhyl, officers witnessed what they believed to have been a drug deal taking place.

Another man was stopped and found to be in possession of a quantity of cash and a number of “deal bags”.

A search of his home address was completed by officers, during which a large quantity of class B drugs were found.

A number of positive stop and searches were also undertaken in Rhyl, resulting in further arrests for drug possession.

Superintendent Owain Llewelyn, of North Wales Police, said: “This activity follows on from a lot of other proactive work which has been undertaken over the last 10 days.

"The serious and organised crime and people trafficking which is linked to it can cause real damage to our communities and it funds further criminality.

“We make no apologies for taking the necessary actions to keep our local residents safe from such harm.

“We will continue with a robust, sustained approach to all forms of criminality in the area, to ensure the success of ‘Renew’ for the people of Rhyl West, and I’d like to thank residents for the information they have provided so far.

“Together with local partners and residents, there is a lot of proactive, positive work currently being undertaken, all of which will strengthen our community going forward, as well as ensuring those who are vulnerable to the impact of crime are supported as much as possible.”
