WELSH language folk group Hen Gegin brought the house down during their well-attended concert at Rhuddlan Community Centre.
Members of the band, who hail from Maldwyn, Mid Wales, introduced all numbers bilingually before presenting music they fairly describe as a compilation of the old and the new, weaving together the traditional and the original.
All four members of the band stood out as vocalists/multi-instrumentalists in their own right.
Pictured on the cover of their latest CD ‘Hwyliti ‘Ngwas’ are from left, Roy Griffiths guitar/banjo, Bryn Davies accordion, Jac Gittins mandolin, whistle and bodhran and Rhys Jones fiddle/bass.
