A CAFÉ in Rhyl which includes a children’s soft play area is set to re-open with a new management team.
Rhyl Corner Café, on West Parade, closed last year, but plans to welcome back customers from this coming bank holiday weekend.
It has been taken on by Mike Full, originally from Cardiff but now living in Rhyl, who wants the café to appeal to children and young parents, in particular.

Mike said: “I just think it’s somewhere that’s good for kids and young parents, and I think Rhyl has hit the point now where its going to start turning round have new life breathed into the area.
“In school term time, we’re going try and do a deal for younger children to come and play, for mums to meet, and for people to have food.
“The play area, menu, and staff will all be new – we’re trying to make a warm, friendly welcome.”
The original plan, Mike said, was to re-open on Friday (May 3), but this may be delayed until later in the bank holiday weekend.
Once open, the café will welcome customers each day between 9am and 6pm.
