A TEENAGER from Rhyl and her mother are to set up their own dog walking and sitting business together.
Kristin Hartery, 16, and mum Vanessa, who already live with five dogs of their own, are planning to start the business within the next year.
She said the business will stretch to “anywhere I can get a bus that’s not too expensive”.

“Until we can get our business together, I'm going to be volunteering to walk dogs and pet sit,” Kristin said.
“I start college in September, and that will be an animal course to learn more about animals and how to care for them.
“I've been raised with animals my entire life - there's never not been a dog in my life. They are my world, which is why I want to help people out.”
Kristin, whose family own two whippets and three shih tzus, is hoping to draw up a potential clientele prior to starting the business.
Her volunteering will, she hopes, make her more experienced and prepared for when it is set up.
“We still need to do a few things, like trademark the business, which will cost quite a bit.
“I’ve been thinking about this for a year, and when my mum decided she wanted to join in, she decided we’d do it together.”
