A TOTAL of two people were transferred to hospital following a three-vehicle crash in Prestatyn yesterday (April 17).
This was on the A548 (Prestatyn Road), with the road shut from about 5.40pm until shortly before 9.15pm.
North Wales Police, the Welsh Ambulance Service and the Wales Air Ambulance all attended the incident.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We were called shortly before 5.40pm on April 17 to a report of a three-vehicle road traffic collision on A548 Prestatyn Road, Prestatyn.
“Officers attended, along with colleagues from the Welsh Ambulance Service and Wales Air Ambulance, to divert traffic and assist with a road closure.
“Two people were taken to hospital, and the road reopened shortly before 9.15pm.”
A Wales Air Ambulance spokesperson added: “I can confirm that the Wales Air Ambulance attended an incident in that region yesterday.
“Our Caernarfon-based crew were allocated at 5.58pm and attended by air.
“They arrived at the scene at 6.30pm. Our involvement concluded at 7.22pm.”
