EMERGENCY services descended on Rhyl beach following concerns that a person was in the water.
An eye-witness saw North Wales Police and members of the coastguard at the beach on April 7, just before 8pm.
They told the Journal: "By the look of things, a person was in the water and the police and coastguards were trying to help them out. About 8pm, the lifeboat came out of the station."
Rhyl RNLI said they were unable to comment.
A spokesperson for North Wales Police described the incident as a "concern for safety."
They added that the incident was resolved - "all ok."
