AN INTERIORS and furniture shop in Abergele closed its doors for good last week.
Bennetts Interiors, on Market Street, marked its final day of business on Thursday, March 28, before shutting at 4pm that day after a “closing down sale”.
Its other store, on Conway Road, Colwyn Bay, remains open, meanwhile.
Founded in Llandudno in 2019, the Abergele shop opened in early 2022.
Co-owner Graham Bennett said in a statement in February that the move to shut the Abergele shop was a “difficult decision”.

He said: “After some careful consideration over the last few months, we have made the difficult decision to close our Abergele store.
“This February, we have been here for two years. It has been a privilege to do business with you, and we have met some amazing people along the way.
“We understand that this may come as a disappointment to some of you who have become our regular customers, and we will be sad to be leaving here.
“I would like to thank you all for your continued support of us.”
Bennetts Interiors opened in Colwyn Bay at the end of 2020, while its Abergele shop was based at the former site of the town’s Woolworths store.
