STRONG winds are forecast in North Wales this weekend.
BBC Weather is forecasting wind gusts of up to 46mph on Saturday, with a strong wind forecast throughout the day.
Today (Tuesday, March 19) will see cloud and lingering showers gradually clear to leave it increasingly dry with a mix of patchy cloud and spells of sunshine in the afternoon. Easing winds.
Tonight will see clouds and spells of rain move in early from the southwest. The rain moves off to the northeast for most areas towards dawn.
Tomorrow (Wednesday, March 20), the first day of spring, will continue overcast with more spells of rain soon moving in from the northwest. The rain will become patchier and lighter in the afternoon. Winds will be light.
Thursday is expected to be breezy and mild with cloudy skies in the morning with a few spots of light rain and drizzle. A few brighter spells will develop in the afternoon. Turning cloudy overnight with a few spells of rain.
Friday will see sunny spells for many with just a few isolated showers moving in from the north-west.
