THE manager of a holiday park in Kinmel Bay has bought new pop-up tents to donate to those who are homeless or living in poverty in the surrounding area.
Louis Ellis (Palins Holiday Park, Crazy Golf Towyn, Locked In escape room) has passed the tents on to dedicated fundraiser Richard Kendrick, who does much to help the homeless residents of Rhyl and elsewhere.
Richard has also urged anyone else who has tents, old or new, to donate to contact him at kendrick7396@gmail.com, or to visit: www.gofundme.com/f/supporting-homeless-people-and-families.

“We have worked with Richard many times, and think it’s important to help out people in vulnerable situations,” Louis said.
“We donated some tents from The Magpie and Stump (Palins Holiday Park bar and restaurant) the other week, and heard that he needed some more.
Richard added: “It would be great if people donated old tents and sleeping bags, if they are still OK. Second-hand tents are great.
“Lots will have some in sheds and garages. More tents have gone out (to homeless residents) this week.”
In addition, Richard had also been given 80 tickets to Geronimo’s Adventure Playzone in Rhyl, to pass on to Denbighshire County Council to distribute to children in temporary accommodation.
More than 200 Easter eggs have been donated to Denbighshire County Council and Conwy County Borough Council’s homeless teams, meanwhile.
