POLICE are appealing for more information after a man entered an elderly person's property without consent in Rhyl on March 12.
They received a report that the man had entered the property on St Margaret's Drive at around 11am, offering repair services for free.
The man asked if cash was kept at the property and also communicated by phone with another unknown person whilst at the property.
A description of the male said he is 5'11 tall, looked like a builder, and used a white box style van with a cage surrounding with dark blue tarpaulin and machinery on the back.
Police are looking to identify the vehicle and man involved.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "We are looking to identify the vehicle or male involved.
"If anyone has any information, please contact North Wales Police using reference 24000248885.
"Please use caution when answering your door to strangers.
"Never agree to work from a doorstep trader and please report anything suspicious by calling 101 or webchat."
