POLICE will continue to patrol the old Prestatyn to Dyserth walkway after reports of off-road motorcycles using the path.
The pathway is popular with walkers, dog walkers and cyclists, but members of the community reported the use of off-road motorcycles along the walkway.
Police said the use of these vehicles on the pathway is "dangerous" and would be dealt with "robustly".
They said they had conducted observational patrols in the area, which would continue for several weeks.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Acting on information received from the community regarding off-road motorcycles being used on the old Prestatyn to Dyserth walkway.
"We have conducted observational patrols in the area and will continue in the coming weeks.
"The pathway is popular with walkers, dog walkers and cyclists of all ages and using an off-road motorcycle in this location is dangerous and will be dealt robustly.
