A POPULAR pub in Abergele which is under new management will re-open its doors this Friday - and with a new name.
The Bridge Head, previously the Pen y Bont Inn, will re-open to customers on St David's Day, March 1. The pub, which has undergone a few upgrades, is located on Bridge Street.
Over the weekend there will be entertainment, games and bingo.
Tasty dishes will also be served up by the kitchen!
New manager Michael Warton said: "I'm proud to take over the management of the old Pen y Bont and look forward to welcoming customers both old and new.
"We are also creating a number of new jobs for people in the area."
Food will be served on Friday between 12pm and 8pm.
On Friday, the function room will open at 7pm until midnight. Artist Natalie Jaxx will provide entertainment. There will also be a DJ. Last orders - 11.30pm.
On Saturday, March 2, there will be artist Tom Loughlin and a DJ. Function room opens at 7pm - artist on at 8pm.
On Sunday, the function room will open at 3pm with artist Rebecca Parry on at 4pm. In-between there will be Play Your Cards Right. Rebecca Parry will then return.
Bingo Loco will take place from 7.30pm. Doors close at 11pm.
Only those aged 21 and older are permitted upstairs unless it is a private function.
