THESE pictures show how work is going on the building that used to house Woolworths in Rhyl.
In 2023, the owner of the former Woolworths building was issued with a formal notice from Denbighshire County Council, requiring them to improve the poor condition of the building.
Duncan Nield-siddall took the latest photos of the work.
Duncan, who has been taking photos of renovations and demolished buildings for 10 years, commented that the building was "looking really good" and that he hoped it would "soon be finished."
In January, a spokesperson from Denbighshire County Council told the Journal: "The owner undertook extensive repairs, including a modern paint scheme, the replacement of broken windows and the refurbishment of coloured panelling.
"Denbighshire County Council will continue to work constructively with the owner of the building."

The spokesperson added today (February 26): "The council is continuing to work with the owner of the building to make sure the works at the site will be finished by early Spring.”
Woolworths, renowned for its pick 'n' mix sweets and bargain prices, shut its last British branches in 2009 following the financial crash.
