TOMMY Cannon, one half of the comic double act Cannon and Ball, is to be the special guest at a pub in Towyn later this year.
The entertainer will make an appearance on June 7 at Morton Arms, which is due to re-open later this week.
Billed as an “intimate, uplifting evening” looking back at Cannon and Ball’s career, there promises to be stories, laughter and music, plus an audience Q&A session.
Comedian Matt Grindley will host the event, which starts at 8.45pm (doors open at 7pm).

“This show is also hosted by Matt Grindley, who is, in his own right, a superb entertainer.
“We are all at Morton Arms so excited to be back open on March 1, with some great entertainment planned.
“Also, at the end of season in October, we are looking forward to welcome back former lead singer of The Drifters, Ray Lewis!”

The pub re-opened for the first time in months last March after undergoing a refurbishment.
