A GAMING retailer has closed its store in Rhyl, in a move that has been described as a “huge shame”.
GAME shut its Rhyl shop, at 38 High Street, earlier this month.
No definitive reason for its closure was given by the company when contacted by the Journal.

A spokesperson for GAME said: “This store sadly closed; all information and data from this store would be passed on to Wrexham.
“I believe that the store closed on February 4 according to our details, and sadly we do not have a defined reason for this closure.”
Joseph Aled Hill, who used to shop at the Rhyl GAME store, expressed his sadness at its closure, and his fears for the future of other businesses on the town’s High Street.
He said: “It’s a huge shame to see a shop that has been in Rhyl for so long closing its doors for good.
“GAME always had great offers, lovely staff and a true passion for gaming.
“As another shop closes its doors on Rhyl’s High Street, I can’t help but worry what this next 12 months will be like for other businesses.”
