188-190 Wellington Road, once of Corbett Bookmakers Ltd, will be subject to demolition during February.

Peter MacDonald, of Corbett Bookmakers, made the application to the committee, on the basis of the building’s poor condition.
Mr MacDonald proposed that a “complete strip-out and hand demolition” be carried out at the site.
Rubble from the demolition will be taken to landfill, and the land is to be left flat and even at existing levels after it is complete.
An assessment found no evidence to suggest that bats are using the premises, meanwhile.
