AN UNCLE and nephew have pleaded guilty to being responsible for a Rottweiler Cross dog which injured four people at a holiday park in Kinmel Bay last year.
Thomas Skillen, 29, of Marine Road, Abergele; and Ian Loftus, 58, of Argoed, Kinmel Bay, admitted four charges each of being in charge of a dangerously out of control dog causing injury at Mold Crown Court today (January 11).
They previously denied the charges during a hearing in October.
Both men, who are remanded in custody, will now be sentenced on Monday, February 5.

The court heard that, at The Magpie and Stump bar at Palins Holiday Park, Morfa Avenue on September 15, 2023, the dog injured Steven Moore, Benjamin Rogers, Korena James and Kerri Churchill.
During the October hearing, Skillen pleaded guilty to charges of affray and of assaulting Jared Roberts.
Following the incident, North Wales Police said that a man had been taken to hospital with a serious arm injury after allegedly being bitten by a dog.
North Wales Police added that the dog was seized from a residential address and was taken to appropriate kennels, where its welfare was being managed.
