A MAN is to be sentenced following claims that he “strangled a person with shoelaces” at a holiday park in Towyn.
Scott Gorman, 50, of Ludlow Street, Liverpool, has admitted charges of with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, and threatening a person with an offensive weapon.
An incident took place late on Friday, October 27 at Ty Mawr Holiday Park, on Towyn Road.
Gorman appeared at Caernarfon Crown Court on January 5 for a plea and trial preparation hearing, with his sentencing adjourned until January 26.

The victim, Kenneth Allford, shared with the Journal the above pictures of the injuries he sustained from the attack.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 11.30pm on Friday, October 27, we received a report of an assault that had taken place at Ty Mawr Caravan Park, Towyn.
“He was released on conditional bail until his next court appearance.”
A spokesperson for Ty Mawr Holiday Park added: "There was an incident at the park and we are helping police with their enquiries.
“As this is an ongoing investigation, we can't comment further at this time."
