A PUB and nightclub in Towyn has cancelled its New Year's Eve party after having its licence suspended.
Sonny's Bar, also known as Sunny's, had its premises licence suspended for three months following an application by North Wales Police after a drink and drug fuelled under-18s disco where some children were taken to hospital.
Operating on the first floor, Bentley’s nightclub opened in April, but police reported 16 incidents involving drunkenness, fights, the threat of weapons, and theft.
Police also had concerns about cocaine and ketamine use.

The bar was due to host a New Year's Eve party, with a bingo, disco/karaoke and live entertainment.
Despite selling tickets for the event, the pub has been forced to cancel - and said it would deal with refunds through its Facebook page (Sunny's Bar & Pub Grub).
In a notice posted on social media, the bar said: "We have taken the decision to cancel the New Year’s Eve party.
"The premises will be complying with the suspension of its licence which starts on the 3 January 2024.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused please contact our Facebook page for any refunds."
