A BARGAIN Booze store in Rhyl has announced its sudden closure, with staff (including managers) being made redundant.
Staff members at the town’s Wellington Road store were informed yesterday (December 14) that they were being made redundant, with the shop now closed.
Parcels that are due to be delivered have been sent back to EVRI, and will be directly delivered to homes or other collection stores.
Assistant manager Emma Louize Owen, in a post on social media, thanked staff members and customers for their support.

The post stated: “It is with heavy heart to announce that all staff and managers were made redundant yesterday and the shop is now closed.
“EVRI – all parcels that were in store for collection have been returned to EVRI and will either be delivered to homes or taken to your nearest collection shop.
“Please note that it was a franchise shop and does not affect any other Bargain Booze stores.
“Gill Atkinson (manager) myself and all the staff would like to take the opportunity to thank all our loyal customers - it has been a pleasure to serve you.”
