A TOTAL of three men were arrested in Rhyl last week after a cannabis grow containing more than 1,000 plants was seized.

Police arrested the men following the execution of a warrant in the Albert Street area, with the 1,181 plants estimated to have a street value of about £500,000.

The three men have been released on conditional police bail while investigations continue.
