SANTA has made an unexpected visit to the Rotary Club of Rhyl to make sure that his Christmas float is in tip-top condition for the festive season.
He even lent a hand to his small army of Rotarian elves to make sure that the float is gleaming and 'ready to go' for its popular appearance in and around the areas of Rhyl, Rhuddlan and St Asaph.
Santa is looking forward to meeting all families, especially the children, at many supermarkets between December 2 and 20 and is hoping also to tour some of the districts during this period.
President-elect Rotarian John Dicks, of St Asaph, said: "It has been a pleasure to help Santa give the float a wash and brush-up; we cannot wait to accompany him on his rounds in December".
Current President Tony Thomas said: "This is one of the most popular activities of our Rotary Club year for adults and children alike.
"The club raised thousands of pounds last year and helped many deserving causes both here and abroad. Our Christmas collection is a vital part of that effort".
