A MAN from Meliden who breached his domestic violence protection order has been jailed.
Ian McCarthy, 54, of Ffordd Talargoch, was sentenced to 28 days’ imprisonment at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on November 13.
He admitted the breach on the same day.

The court heard that, on November 12, McCarthy breached the order by attending an address on Sholing Drive and by being in the company of Martine Steel.
McCarthy was prohibited from doing both of these by an order made at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on October 31.
He was considered to have shown a “flagrant disregard for court orders”.
In October, Ms Steele, 38, was handed a community order for assaulting McCarthy.
The terms of this order involved Steele undergoing nine months of alcohol treatment, and a maximum of 15 days’ rehabilitation activity.
