“Blast! Films” is the production company behind the programme, which documents the lives of the men and women of the RNLI.
The BBC synopsis says of the episode: “In Rhyl, a Christmas Day call out to a person in the water leads to an unexpected discovery.”
Last month, Blast! Films returned to Rhyl to film Saving Lives at Sea once again, which may make part of an episode in its ninth series next year.
Filming concerned the crew's night-time rescue of a yacht, a spokesperson for Blast! Films told the Journal.
In October, episodes have also aired focusing partly on rescue missions carried out by the RNLI crews in Conwy and Llandudno.
