A PUB in Rhyl is to provide food and drinks for ex-servicemen on Sunday (November 12) after the town’s remembrance service.
The Cob & Pen, at 143 High Street, will continue its annual tradition of hosting veterans on Remembrance Sunday.
There will also be a photo taken of all veterans in attendance at about 3pm.

Shaun Ketley, who took on the pub in February, said: “They (veterans) are going to come down after the service, so we’re going to put food on for them.
“They reckon there’ll be about 30+ of them, from 2-3pm onwards. There’ll just be some sandwiches, pork pies, sausage rolls… things like that.
“I took over the pub at the end of February, so this is obviously the first time for me, organising something for Remembrance Sunday. It should be close to everybody’s hearts.
“It’s their tradition to come to our pub on Remembrance Sunday, so we’re just trying to keep the tradition going.”
Rhyl’s Remembrance Sunday service will take place on November 12 at St Thomas' Church from 9.30am until 10.30am.
This will be followed by a parade to the garden of remembrance for a short service to observe the two-minute silence and wreath-laying.
Tea and coffee will also be served afterwards at the 1891 bar and restaurant, meanwhile.
