A LAW firm whose head office is in Rhyl is has been shortlisted to be named “Welsh law firm of the year”.
Gamlins Law will find out on November 24 if it is the country’s top law firm of 2023 when the winners of the Wales Legal Awards are revealed.
The last financial year saw Gamlins’ turnover rise by more than 10 per cent – indeed, turnover has doubled since the current management team took on the running of the firm six years ago.

During the past 12 months, headcount at the business has also increased from 75 to almost 90, creating opportunities for both established and younger lawyers, and for support staff.
Earlier this year, the firm recruited five new trainee solicitors and three paralegals, seven of them from the North Wales region.

This year, Gamlins launched its sister brand, Conspiracy Lawyers UK, providing legal services to clients across the UK who have been accused of conspiracy-related offences.
During the last year, the firm’s personal injury and medical negligence team has recovered more than £4million in damages, along with more than £500,000 for clients in interim payments, meanwhile.
The winners of the Wales Legal Awards 2023 will be announced at a dinner on November 24 at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel.
