A WOMAN who was jailed in September for attacking and robbing a vulnerable man in Wrexham has been convicted of assaulting her former partner in Rhyl.
Kelly Lavelle, 36, of HMP Styal but formerly of Victoria Road, Rhyl, denied assaulting Lauren Harris in the town on April 15, but a guilty verdict was proved in absence at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on November 6.
She received a 12-week concurrent prison sentence for this offence, having been jailed for three years and eight months in September for robbery.

Lavelle was not ordered to pay compensation, or indeed costs of any sort, as it was felt that this may aggravate matters between her and Ms Harris.
The defendant had more than 35 previous convictions for in excess of 55 offences.
In September, she was jailed after drunkenly robbing Paul Williams on Hope Street, Wrexham on December 17, 2021 – the same day that she had been granted early release from prison.
She had been jailed for two-and-a-half years in September 2020 after she had threatened to "beat" the baby out of a pregnant woman during a robbery in Rhyl.
