A MAN has been charged with three offences following claims that he “strangled a person with shoelaces” at a holiday park in Towyn.
Scott Gorman, 50, of Ludlow Street, Liverpool, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentional strangulation and affray.
An incident took place late on Friday, October 27 at Ty Mawr Holiday Park, on Towyn Road.
It is understood that the victim of the alleged offence was a pensioner.

Gorman appeared at Llandudno Magistrates’ Court on Monday (October 30), and is due at Caernarfon Crown Court next month.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “Shortly before 11.30pm on Friday, October 27, we received a report of an assault that had taken place at Ty Mawr Caravan Park, Towyn.
“Scott Gorman, 50, of Ludlow Street, Liverpool, has been charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentional strangulation and affray.
“He was released on conditional bail until his next court appearance, at Caernarfon Crown Court on November 27.”
A spokesperson for Ty Mawr holiday park added: "There was an incident at the park and we are helping police with their enquiries.
“As this is an ongoing investigation, we can't comment further at this time."
