Meanwhile, Prestatyn Town Council organised a Halloween event yesterday (October 31), which proved a huge success, with more than 490 children attending and 32 shops participating.
The celebrations consisted of a scavenger hunt, children’s dressing up competition, creepy crawlies, and a shop window competition.
The winning Halloween Window Competition shops were as follows:
- Vagabonds
- Powells
- Salon Euphoria
Cllr Bob Murray, mayor of Prestatyn, said: “An amazing day was held today in Prestatyn Town Council offices to celebrate Halloween.
“Just under 500 children attended the event and enjoyed meeting different creepy crawlies, participated in a scavenger hunt up and down the High Street, whilst being dressed in scary costumes.
“A great example of spooky community spirit.”
