A FAMILY jewellers in Prestatyn were left with “tears of joy” after restoring a man’s family heirloom wall clock.
Walter Rigby had been left “deeply upset” after his wall clock stopped working, having had it for all his life and the clock holding “great sentimental value”.
Mr Rigby went along to Powells of Prestatyn, on the High Street, who repaired the clock and restored it “back to its former glory”.
After delivering the clock and setting it up for him, the business said that “seeing him so happy is something we don’t forget”.
A spokesperson for the business said: “This lovely gentleman came to us as his wall clock stopped and wasn’t working.
