A DEAD sheep was sadly found washed up on Rhyl Beach on Saturday afternoon (October 21).
Rhyl resident Courtney Kivell was on a walk with her toddler and her dog when she spotted the carcass, near Rhyl Harbour, at about 4.20pm.

Dead porpoises discovered on Rhyl Beach days after dead sharks found
Dead sharks and porpoises on Denbighshire beaches likely 'unrelated'
She believes the sheep “must have been there a few hours, as the tide was coming back in quite quickly”.
Courtney added: “I didn’t report it - I did ask on Facebook, but couldn’t get a clear answer as to who or where to report to.
“As the current was quite strong, I didn’t think it was worth someone risking their lives for.”
Earlier this year, dead porpoises were found washed up on the same beach, just days after shark carcasses had been discovered on the shore in Prestatyn.
Rhyl Beach also had squid eggs and spider crabs, which one resident described as “like alien beings”, wash up on its seafront in May.
When contacted by the Journal, Rhyl Coastguard Rescue Team said that carcasses such as livestock, sheep, cattle etc should be reported to Denbighshire County Council for disposal.
A council spokesperson then confirmed that the carcass has now been removed from the beach.
